MY PROJECTS

I don’t ever think that a story ends, which is why television is the place I gravitate toward. The aspect, I imagine, I want to be a part of most in Television is in the plotting and/or breaking of stories, I thrive on the building of creativity. I just love the potential of creating something! It’s something I’ll probably repeat, often. The idea of doing this with others and as a career… I mean, come on…

Some of my favorites or what I would strive for: Homicide: Life on the Streets, Gavin & Stacey, West Wing, NewsRadio, X-Files, Vikings, Parks and Recreation, E.R., Banshee, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Buffy, Spartacus, Angel, Strike Back, Gilmore Girls, Community, and Doctor Who (David Tennant is my Doctor (Donna is my companion))…

Turns out, when you start to make this list, there’s a possibility you don’t stop adding to it… Daredevil…

FESTER & EARPEACE

Impact x Skydance
Elevated Contemporary Horror Prompt

So the story with Fester is...
I'd written a Short Film called 'Earpeace' on a whim, it was to create a small but doable project for my friend; for him I try to summon my inner David Lynch.
The following weekend, I see a Tweet about Impact x Skydance accepting applications but the deadline is 7-4-21; I have twelve days and a fresh short that is still occupying time in my brain.
I see a way to extend 'Earpeace' to a pilot episode as well as how to make a season out of it. I go for it and write the pilot and feel confident enough that I have something worth showing, it is now July 2nd.
However, there are two additional requirements that I am unprepared for, a 30 second video pitch and an application questionnaire. I did my best on both, but this is my first time and I am unprepared.
Still valuable learning experience.
Thanks for reading.

WEBSERIES

I really like the idea of scripted Webseries.

I’m not sure if it is because in my current limited resource world, it is the closest I’d ever get to make a television show. Or if it is because there is a freedom within the Webseries format that doesn’t exist in television.

Story never ends. That’s my viewpoint. I’ll always lean toward series than singles.

HOMELESS

Horror/Drama -  Webseries

Logline: David was selected to carry a virus by a Sentient Virus-Being and by accepting, he must utilize the virus to battle other sentients while trying to move on from his collapsed life and grieving family.

Project Goal: The initial creation of Homeless was to make a Webseries that was going to be low budget, horror-based with a way to inject plenty of real-life drama. The First Season is a crash course introductory to the “Homeless” Universe.
